We’re Brian and Laura Grahme, founders of Fortis Home Watch, a veteran-owned, accredited, insured, and bonded home watch and concierge service based in Lakewood Ranch. With over 45 years of combined experience—Brian’s 20+ years in law enforcement and Laura’s 25+ years in operations and business ownership—we bring professionalism, reliability, and personal attention to every visit. It’s the kind of experience that gives you confidence knowing your home is protected by people who know what to look for and how to respond.
At Fortis Home Watch, our mission is to provide homeowners with peace of mind through trusted, detail-oriented, and professional property care. We treat every home as if it were our own—combining vigilance, integrity, and a genuine commitment to service.

After raising our two children in Minnesota, we settled in beautiful Lakewood Ranch to begin our next chapter—creating a service built on dependability, care, and true peace of mind.

Meet Laura
Operational Excellence, Personal Touch.
With over 20 years of experience in operations management at AT&T, Laura built a career rooted in organization, reliability, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Her leadership style blends strategic thinking with hands-on attention to detail—qualities that have defined every stage of her professional journey.
After a successful corporate career, Laura launched and operated her own business, which she later sold to a national chain. Eager for new challenges, she went on to serve as Director of Operations in the retail industry, where she led teams, managed multiple properties, and implemented systems that improved performance and customer satisfaction.
Today, she brings that same level of operational excellence and care to Fortis Home Watch. Laura ensures every property receives the same precision, accountability, and personal attention she’s known for—treating each home as if it were her own.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing pickleball, discovering new restaurants, and finding peaceful views of the ocean.

With more than 20 years in law enforcement and a background in the U.S. Navy, Brian brings an exceptional level of professionalism, organization, and accountability to Fortis Home Watch. His career was built on investigative precision—specializing in complex cases involving violent and career criminals, internal affairs, and major public safety operations including the Super Bowl and NCAA Final Four.
That same discipline and attention to detail now define his approach to property care and client communication. Brian’s extensive experience managing people, processes, and high-stakes situations ensures that every home is protected with the same diligence he brought to his years in public service. Known for his reliability and calm professionalism, he brings confidence and peace of mind to every Fortis client.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys pickleball, time on the water, and discovering new places along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
